Which one is more fattening?

3 pieces of white bread or a cup of white rice?


The white bread.
Rice has healthy nutrients (better if it's not par-broiled too. Rice contains inositol and which is good for your body and is a healthy carbohydrate. It's not as empty in calories as white bread is. Brown rice is preferrable, but white rice is good too as long as it's not the starchy, refined production.

White bread is refined wheat and will make you sugar crash faster than whole grain and is not healthy for your intestinal tract either.

  1. 3 pieces of white bread is just empty calories. When it comes to food, "if its white, it ain't right." Try to leave out white potatoes, white rice, white bread, etc.
