Got a swollen eye…???
Looks infected, very swollen, kind of blueish, could be a sty?? Any ideas what to do apart form docs???
If it is a stye then damp a flannel with hot water ( not boiling… !) wrap it around a wooden spoon and bathe your eye. It will help bring it to a head. You will need antibiotic cream though.
Old wife's cure, but it works boil water pour in saucer-full of hot water place tea bag in until Luke warm then place over eye for 5min repeat a few times during day. This will encourage the sty to come to head . This also shrinks the blood vessels which reduces redness and swelling. Its the tannin in tea which does all this. Good luck.
go to the doctor, it could be a stye, conjunctivitis etc, so you need to get the appropriate medicine. home remedies will not help an infection, and it may get worse. you don't want it to get to the point of affecting your vision, so get it checked! if your doctor isn't working today, a pharmacist at the chemist's may be able to help.
Erm you should see a doctor but if you cant go sleep as you will rest your eyes and it may get better or get eye drops but it may be painful and sting well just see your doctor asap and sleep
