Small bumps on tongue?

Would small bumps on tongue be an early sign or symptom of Hiv infection? Like one months post exposure? And what other std's would cause small irritating bumps on tongue 2 weeks after getting over a swollen throat

  1. Honestly I haven't heard of that as a early symptom…though I could be wrong. I have had this happen to me when I eat certain foods, especially those with an abundance of salt. If that is the case, they should disappear in a few days.

    Obviously you have a reason to be asking this question…unprotected sex??? If so, my best advice would be to get to a clinic for a very simple test.

    This will put your concerns to rest. I will not say that your concerns are unreasonable, but I will say that it is likely that you are okay. But…I am not a doctor.

    Be careful hon, and always protect that which is precious to you…yourself (children). If you are not around, due to a careless one time incident, there will be many that will be extremely sad, and those that will mourn the loss of you for many years. Sooo not worth a guy being stubborn about a condom.
