So, i'm glad i didn't get it, but how do you think i can gain weight and stop starving? My doc doesn't have a real solution for me so I'm trying to figure out what to do. I have advanced cancer of the small intestine on which surgery was done but it had already spread to my liver... that was 6 yrs ago. I still need to raise my child however and i need to live longer than what it seems the cancer will let me. I was told to buy L-glutamine supplements to stop my cachexia. Do you think that is a wise move? I heard that L-glutamine can progress cancer from a few different sources, but if it can stop glucose absorbtion by the cancer cells then it seems worth it. I take in very little glucose. I don't eat sweets and I eat mostly raw vegan food, but if this will help then I would like to go ahead with it.
