Vitamin D is very easy to get that is by sunbathing in the morning (7-9 o&#8217;clock in the morning). This conclusion is obtained through two studies published in the British Journal of Cancer and the Journal of Clinical Oncology.<span id="more-253"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Both these studies strengthen the theory that increased levels of vitamin D in cancer patients can prolong life expectancy,&#8221; said Sara Hiom, head of Cancer Research, English. But Hiom stressed time limit for sunbathing. Using protective skin when cancer patients sunbathing should also remain to be done. &#8220;The key is to balance the time and the amount of vitamin D in order to have positive impact for people with cancer. Protection so as not to burn the skin should also be considered, &#8220;added Hiom.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The study compared the levels of vitamin D in cancer patients. The results showed the group of cancer patients who received vitamin D, higher life expectancy 50% compared with cancer patients who did not get enough vitamin D from sunlight.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">One of the researchers, Professor Julia Newton Bishop, recommended for skin cancer patients to consume omega-3 fatty acid supplements for vitamin D levels in the body increases.
