Shaking…?
I'm not "officially" diabetic but I've been symptomatic for a long time and have a family history…I'm getting into the doctor's to be tested ASAP. I'm feeling gross today…and my hands won't stop shaking even though I've been eating normally….what are some good ways to bring up my blood sugar quickly? I tried 100% juice which didn't help…and I don't have any glucose tablets with me. Thanks.
You in all reality are probably hyperinsulinistic,….you make too much insulin. Diabetics don't make insulin, or not enough. What is causing your shaking is probably hypoglycemia, low blood sugar, and when you try to combat that with nothing but sugar, it only causes your Pancreas to make even MORE Insulin,…not what you need. What you should do is back up whatever you eat to combat your hypoglycemia with some good solid PROTEIN. Tuna Fish, Cheese, Meat, Eggs, all are wonderful sources of protein, and if you were smart you should probably start avoiding anything containing white flour, as this acts like pure sugar in your body, causing this roller coaster effect. Maybe you are shaking because you are HYPER glycemic!! It affected me that way.
You do not want to bring up the glucose levels any more than they are already. They are probably over 250 so eating a bunch of sugar or drinking a coke or glass of oj will send you toward the moon on a rapid ride!! Headache and more shaking!!!
PEPSI A SMALL GLASS.. HALF A CHOCOLATE BAR… GRAPES… NOW ON U SUPOSED TO CHECK UR BLOODSUGAR 3 TO 4 TIMES A WEEK NORMAL IS BETWEEN 4 AND 7.. U CANT EAT OR DRINK REAL SUGAR.. USE SUGARTWIN.. I KNOW IM A DIABETIC AND KEEP CANDYS WITH YA ALL THE TIME IF U FEEL CRAPPY AGAIN.
