Is chest pain supposed to be felt 6 months after quitting smoking?
I have been quit smoking now for 6 months and every now and again, I get sharp pains under my pectoral muscles on the left side of my chest. I keep tellin myself it is from smoking but I am beginning to second question that thought. Anyone got any input?
Take a visit to see a doctor…It may not be serious, but then again it might be my point generally smoking isn't good for you anyway, but please don't assume things or take opinions, which is not facts, but a belief…My only suggestion is consult with a doctor ASAP! I myself, won't give you my opinion….But I can give a suggestion. See a doctor Pal.
You have taken the 1st step which is an important fact, not mere opinion to quit…For your own sake, but please don't 2nd guess anything, both for you & your family's sake too!
i would take and go to the dcotor i mean it could be from that but i am sure it is gas. sometimes it could be that. but i would say you will eventaully have probelms it makes no difference how long you have quit when you are older something will bring this back to you the smoking it does so much harm and not alot of people can believe how much it can cause of only just smoking a little bit take care.
when i quit, i was still vomiting up black stuff for about 8 months after wards. it just showed how it had effected my body. go to the doctors and get checked, but yeah your body could take a few years to get over it.
I would have you do ct scan of your lungs and see if you damaged them and your heart as well because remember that nicotine stresses the heart. It will always make your blood pressure higher than what it is because it stresses it.
No I wouldn't think this would be from quitting smoking. I definitely would recommend you go see your doctor, I wouldn't put it off much longer. Take Care!
congrats on the non smoking…but do go get that chest pain checked out probably nothing but better safe than sorry.
