Hiv is not that common in the U.S?

is HIV not that common in the U.S.? 1 million is that true? there has got to be more..r u kidding me .? 2008? what are the stats!?

how about california? i hear its more common out in california.. are they the number 1 for HIV?


You've been asking nonstop about HIV because you were raped. Your irrational stressing about HIV may be the way you're coping with it right now. Go get help for your mental well-being.

I'm going to answer this once. You. Do. Not. Have. HIV. Worrying and stressing over it like you are doing is not going to help you any. Stress lowers your immune system. Any symptoms of anything that you have are a symptom of your stress about the situation. Get help and learn to quit stressing so much.

He tested negative, you tested negative. The only thing for it is to wait six months and get retested. You're going to come up negative though.

Yes only one in 300 people in the United States has either HIV or AIDS. Both of them combined, still 1 in 300. Look it up. Put your mind at ease. You're just hurting yourself stressing so much.

    No, you are not crazy, but you do appear to be extremely anxious, and you seem to have fixated your anxiety on HIV.

    HIV is not your problem, the anxiety you are suffering is. This is a common reaction to the kind of horrible experience you have been through.

    I understand that you are trying to make the fear go away by seeking reassurance about the HIV question through this site, and by doing repeated tests. Unfortunately, that won't work, and may actually be making your anxiety worse by getting you to focus on it.

    How to manage your anxiety is what you need to work on with your professional help. I am very sorry that you are feeling so frightened and hurt, and I hope you start feeling better about things soon.

  2. I believe HIV is more common than that but there is no way to count since hiv is what you get before aids, most people do not know they have it. It doesnt always show up in tests and lies dormant.
